Breville coffee maker
G'day!...with that greeting, some of you may have already guessed that this coffee company is from Australia. It was founded in 1932 in the city of Melbourne by two dudes named Bill O'Brien and Harr Norville...hence the name Breville was worked out from their names. In the beginning, the company was known as "Breville Radio" but a couple of decades later, with the increase in the popularity of television, they started focusing their business towards kitchen appliances...a fascinating change from radio chatter to kitchenware.Breville evolved significantly in the 1970s when they opened a R&D center and a couple of years later Breville were the first to introduce the world's first "scissor-action" sandwich maker. Its overwhelming success was followed by a range of other kitchen appliances such as food processors, yogurt makers, blenders etc.
In the 1990s the company started developing exotic appliances such as a health grill, a panini press and, yes... for coffee-lovers they began manufacturing espresso machines.
At present, Breville has limited options of coffeemakers in comparison to espresso machines. Please see below for list of both coffee and espresso machines currently available by Breville.
